This summer, I went to Gangwondo Sogeumgang Auto Camp (소금강오토캠프) to go camping, or semi-camping. You rent your own space where you can place your tent and park your car. The facilities are actually quite convenient! There is a public restroom and shower room, and nearby faucet/basin to wash your dishes. It is actually quite relaxing (I went with a group of 20, so not as peaceful as I wish it to be).

This is our camp!

Near the camping site is a small spring of water for those who like activities in the water. Its really refreshing when you go during the summer!

Odaesan is a famous mountain in Gangwondo. Sadly, because of the rain, we weren't allowed to hike there. Instead, we went to Noinbong right next to the camping site. For the first hour walk, you'll encounter many tourists. But after a while, it starts to get quiet and you basically feel the nature.?

Getting to the peak wasn't easy, but worthwhile. Here it is.?

Amazing right? Whats better is the way down. The way down is different route, which is much easier.

A great place to shoot a movie.?

If you really like your time with nature, I highly recommend Gangwondo!
